This is the beginnings of the new chicken coop.

My fiance and his dad worked on it this weekend.

I think we have at least 2 more weekends worth of work to do!

Chicks in the Mail!

This is what you pick up from the post office when you order 25 chicks.

Voila! All 25 chicks survived the journey from Texas to Anchorage in March.

Short-term home is a large rubbermaid container with a heat lamp

 and a constantly freshened bed of paper towels.
